Saturday, February 18, 2023 - One hour decant and pairing it with a steak bought this morning at singen market. Mushroom, wet forest floor, cardamom, sweet black pepper, vanilla ripe cherries, on the nose. Med acidity, med alcohol, med body, dry tannins, med flavor intensity and med finish. Sweet dried berries and a lot of vanilla, a bit too sweet for my taste. Ready to drink. Bordeaux style. Nose is more complex than mouth at this stage so I recommend a longer decant. Wine did taste more integrated after 2 hours.
