90 Points

Tuesday, August 18, 2020 - This is really nondescript right now. Its confused but it seems to have good bones. I did not sense even a trace of bret in my bottle so I don't get that, but I totally get the acidic comments...You can smell the citric or tartaric acid...But this very component should preserve this wine for a long time and allow it to develop very, very slowly, provided the fruit holds. Might become Rioja like with time. I would say this is one to hold for about 7 years before you touch it. Will never be astonishing, but I can see this hitting 93 at some point...HOLD
