Sunday, May 1, 2022 - Quick decant. Light nose of wet moss and old oak. Red fruits and blueberry on the palate with loads of oak, spice, and sandalwood. Supple tannins on the finish with red cherry, plum and notes of spruce and vanilla before a long oak note kicks in. However, this wine seemed to fall apart a bit as it sat in the glass, making long-term aging a dicey proposition based on this showing.
