Monday, July 25, 2022 - Tasted blind. Deep violet in the glass. Sweet aromatics of blueberry, blackberry, raspberry jam, some green pepper. I thought that this nose is steering me towards a Carmenere-Cabernet blend, but instead of Carmenere it's Malbec. Palate is full and smooth with moderate acidity and high alcohol. I didn't find too much complexity here, but still an enjoyable wine if you want to go big with your BBQ. Don't think I would pay this much, but ok.
