93 Points

Saturday, June 20, 2009 - Popped and poured. Dark purple. An enjoyable nose of black fruits, lead pencil and a tad of funk (in a good way). Fine palate of black currant, black cherry, mushroom and charcoal. Balanced and integrated from start to fine finish. Ready to drink, but with years to go. In time this could be as good as the 89 I had recently. Some sediment. An outstanding wine that was very good with loin lamb chops.
