At 20 years old this is now fully mature but has the perfect balance of acidity, fruit and tanins to last another 20 years. Delicate nose, black fruits, touch of cedar and floral note. Great harmony and elegance. Subtle cassis, cigar box and pencil lead notes. Tannins soft and well integrated but still persistent. Primary fruit notes still to the fore. Excellent acidity and freshness. This wine is still so youthful, great finesse and verve, long and balanced. 94
