Saturday, May 29, 2021 - 91-92+ Immeasurably better than the 15. Alive and vivacious, with a savoury Martinborough edge, moving away from the boring ripeness of the '15.

N: Very stemmy, almost herbaceous, capsicum, dried cranberries, ethereal, fresh raspberries.

P: Med body. Lively, lifted, punchy crisp red berries and subtle plum. Spicy, brooding, snapped stems, black tea, med+ acid with crushed graphite mineral spine and grainy med- tannins. Elegant, harmonious.

F: Fresh, green leaves, British blackberries. V subtle leathery oak.
