Fantastic value. I don’t think this is past it’s best. I suspect it has arrived though. Hopefully a few more years before any decline. This is my best experience so far and all have been good. I do like some age and some development - sometimes that disappoints, but not today. This is lively and has gained complexity. 2 more bottles to go, and at this price point I am more than happy to take a risk on this one.

Think it's past is best but good drinking without food, which I enjoy but best if it can do both. Rating it down a bit for that reason. Better on its own.
Very nice. Aromatic. Mild fruit and well balanced. Decantered well and fruit came to life but was nice all the way through. Very PN. Suspect it is at it's peak.

Not really my thing. Nice nose, raspberries and strawberries. Nose really set the tone for the palate as well. Dominated by sweet red fruit, really not so much else. I find this a bit lacking in balance and interest while for sure still unmistakably PN.

91-92+ Immeasurably better than the 15. Alive and vivacious, with a savoury Martinborough edge, moving away from the boring ripeness of the '15.
N: Very stemmy, almost herbaceous, capsicum, dried cranberries, ethereal, fresh raspberries.
P: Med body. Lively, lifted, punchy crisp red berries and subtle plum. Spicy, brooding, snapped stems, black tea, med+ acid with crushed graphite mineral spine and grainy med- tannins. Elegant, harmonious.
F: Fresh, green leaves, British blackberries. V subtle leathery oak.
