Thursday, March 28, 2024 - Decanted about four hours prior to serving. Very dark color and showing no visible signs of age. Nose of blackberry, cassis, leather and black tea. Similar palate, but it falls flat in acidity for me. The 93 score here is at the end of day one. Day two shows similar nose and palate, but the mouthfeel and vibrancy are off the charts. 96 points on day two. Clearly no hurry here, but I'm going to sit on the rest of my bottles for three to five years before opening another.
