Friday, April 4, 2008 - Dark purple, opaque in color. On the initial pour, deep, dark grape and berry aromas with a slight hint of vanilla. Tastes of oak, pepper, and honeysuckle. Opened for 45 minutes, but didn't decant. This may do well with another year or two in the cellar.
