Friday, January 19, 2024 - Served blind. Incredibly salty, chalky nose. Pear and green apples. I was in white Burgundy territory, Puligny or Chassagne. The richness on the palate took me back to Northern Rhône but my first comment was "certainly not Condrieu". Very atypical for the appellation due to the 100% new oak, but to be honest the oak is almost fully integrated and provides a great structure for this wine. Stylish, understated richness, green and white fruits, subtle apricot marks. Truly great wine and to me an eyeopener, thanks to Niels. With Niels and Henrik at Møntergade.
