92 Points

Monday, December 31, 2012 - Decanted for approx 3 hours; dark ruby color with a slight brownish hue at the edges, clear; initial nose was pleasing with tobacco, leather, slight bit of oak and menthol; palate was similar to the nose and that of a typical Napa Cab; soft and velvet tannins; medium acid level. Second glass softened up even futher and secondary notes of coffee and licorice became evident.

This was a nice and easy drinking wine. The second layer of flavors help to boost the score from 91-92. Enjoyable and one of Napa's more consistent producers, but for the price, there are options that are just as enjoyable.
