Saturday, June 25, 2016 - Could it have really been 3 years since I last tried you? Opened but not decanted and followed over 3 hours. Charcoal and cigar on the nose, along with a hint of vanilla and spice box. A little watery, the structure is falling behind the solid fruits but still approachable and enjoyable. Some of the red fruit has a slight back-palate tart finish. Plum, red cherry. A solid pop'n'pour, this is in a good place today with minimal air and could be consumed as late us 2020 fi not decanted.
