Monday, November 24, 2008 - Drank at the picnic area of the winery after the tour and tasting. I really enjoyed the 05 when I had it 5/6/08, even though it was young tannic and tight. Tasting both the 05 and 06 at the winery, again, the 05 was very good, but the 06 was better. It was very young, but had a fuller mid palate and rounder tannins that felt better integrated into the wine than the 05 despite being a year younger. Really enjoyable now, and will get better for a few years.
