Monday, May 11, 2009 - Decanted and let sit for about 1 hour. Consistent with prior bottles. Medium nose of dark and red berries, and with a good dose of eucalyptus. Medium body but with rich flavors of dark and red berry, cedar/eucalyptus and licorice. Excellent balance. As usual, not overpowering, but rather slightly elegant with soft tannins and just a hint of acidity. Softened and lost some structure after about 2 hours.
