Tuesday, May 29, 2018 - Second winery on our third day in Napa Valley is Tuck Beckstoffer Wines located at the old Dancing Hares property in St. Helena and hosted by Jessica. The last wine was their Dancing Hares which is made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Made by Andy Erickson and consultant, Philippe Melka and a touch of Michel Rolland. Only 150 cases produced.

Deep purplish ruby red. Dark and rich nose with layers of dark cocoa, dark berries, cinnamon, black currants and a touch floral. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Silky palate with dark cocoa, vanilla, blackberries and dark gravel. Dry and long finish. Drink till 2030.
