Admittedly, opened this way too young but i have more so all good. Typical Bordeaux style blend but don't know that actual %. Red/black cherry and plums on the fruit profile. Creamy texture with spice, black licorice, lavender, and dried herbs. Supple tannins and nice long finish. Beautiful wine right now but will easily go several more years.

Did his father proud Very nice. Still a bit young but after a good hour decant, tasted great. Very full body, lot of berry fruit. Worth the time to cellar

Decanted 3 hours. Nothing but structure with any future potential buried beneath a massive wall of tannins. Some tart blackberry and minerality sneaks out but certainly a stylistic shift from earlier years requiring at least 5 years cellaring.

Second winery on our third day in Napa Valley is Tuck Beckstoffer Wines located at the old Dancing Hares property in St. Helena and hosted by Jessica. The last wine was their Dancing Hares which is made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Made by Andy Erickson and consultant, Philippe Melka and a touch of Michel Rolland. Only 150 cases produced.
Deep purplish ruby red. Dark and rich nose with layers of dark cocoa, dark berries, cinnamon, black currants and a touch floral. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Silky palate with dark cocoa, vanilla, blackberries and dark gravel. Dry and long finish. Drink till 2030.
