Thursday, December 2, 2021 - This bottle really did the trick. Served after an truly outstanding Rousseau Clos Chateau 16 this turned it up a notch but followed the same beautiful vein that Rousseau 16 seems to possess. Just a terrfici nose, dark cherries galore, hauntingly fresh, cool fruited packed and stacked with well measured oak and a very long gripping finish. Suprisingly open today already, but will of course last and should get even better, I was really blown away by how good this wine was vs level / my expectations. So based on this Rousseau nailed 16.
