Sunday, May 10, 2020 - A very nice chianti. It presents a rich, translucent garnet color. The nose is of vegetation, like the leaves on a fruit true, and aging red raspberry. As it sits, it takes on the scents of dry earth and stone.

This is a dry, acidic wine with medium tannins. The taste is of cherry and raspberry, and remains consistent. Very simple and straightforward. It has a medium body that leaves a mild dryness and the flavor of fruits dissipating quickly.

Overall, a refreshing and crisp red that would do well with an acidic tomato-based meal, lamb, or lighter meat.
