Sunday, April 2, 2023 - Vertical tasting of Gravner Ribolla Gialla, wine #4/4. Fermented and later aged in Georgian underground amphorae for 6 months and in used large oak barrels for 6 years. The most distinct vintage from what was tasted, in terms of aroma and flavour profiles. Deep amber colour. Intense aroma of herbs, resin, dried peaches, oil, spices, sage, whisky hints. Palate is on full throttle, intense and rich with powdery fine tannins, soft texture, saline, cheesy and herbal flavours, medium acidity.
