Unfortunately I think the wine was lost on my guests. ~ Great old world meets new world expression of the southern Rhône Grenache dominated blend. Cherry on the nose and the fruit seems super ripe and fresh. Upon drinking it starts fruit forward and then insanely long palate that takes a few layers to get through bringing the old world. Woody garden mulch. Some sharpness of a black peppercorn, fine beautiful tannin.
