Sunday, August 12, 2018 - Pulled and poured at about 12 degrees. On the nose there's a nice floral minerality. On the palate it's quite light, no obvious oak, a nice balance of the floral, light fruit, minerality and just a touch of acidity. The finish is of medium length and refreshing, rather than cloying (in the way that some oaked chards can be).
Overall, this is a very nice, smooth example of white burgundy from an appellation that was new to me.
And I picked up a few bottles at the bin-end price of about US$12, so I'm very happy with the value.
