Wednesday, June 6, 2018 - Alentejo Trip; 6/3/2018-6/8/2018: Deep fruit on the nose (black cherry and blackberry) with olive, leather, coffee. Super fruity on the palate but really well-built with tannins and moderating acidity. Plums, blackberries, the fruit is mixed with scorched earth, eucalyptus, with notes of cedar and mocha woven in very well. Delicious but complex and savory, too, this will age nicely. Grand Noir, Trincadeira and Aragonez.
