Sunday, August 7, 2022 - Sunday lunch with the Wine-Ark boys (Porcine, Oxford Street): Initially this is quite reductive so is popped into a decanter. After time and agitation it shows black cherry and plum, slight earth, sweet spice, but fruit sweet, very very slight wood glue and a smidge of smokiness. Juicy, fleshy, fruit sweet on the palate as well. Softly textured grip is still proves drying, slightly alcohol warmth. Okay but this hasn't really moved forward - served blind I would have guessed 2015 rather than 2005...
