The nose is surprisingly big. It suggests more than the palate delivers, but its varietal correctness makes a good introduction to Pinot for some at the table. With veal chops in a balsamic reduction sauce and rosemary butter and sides of “crab hash” (crab meat, pancetta, roasted potatoes and leeks) ans squash casserole and Italian salad. 07.19.07.
