Thursday, April 22, 2021 - First time trying this domestic malbec. Huge fan of Delille and was excited to try it. In the glass, it is dark but when held to the light it appears garnet in color. Nose of blue fruits, bramble, and berry. Fresh and well integrated on the palate with flavors of dark/blue fruits, more bramble, and spice. There is a savory element here too....thyme perhaps? Very enjoyable bottle. It paired perfectly with marinated grilled mushroom caps stuffed with grilled ribeye and blue cheese.
