Saturday, October 24, 2020 - Very faint tertiary flavors for a wine of its age. Still a big, enjoyable wine but I sense this would have been better as a younger wine as transformation via aging never seemed to have happened. Muted but pleasant nose of sawdust, plums and a slight whiff of old leather car seats. Well-balanced juicy mouth - dark fruit, some umami and licorice. Medium finish of dried fruit.
