Sunday, February 22, 2015 - This was fabulous. Dark golden brown and quite viscous. There was so much going on in this wine, orange marmalade, orange zest, acacia honey, a little hazelnut, ginger and baking spices and somehow still has some kind of savoury edge to it, with more air it was developing truffled honey flavours, lovely length and acidity too. Good with a blood orange cheesecake but superb with some Stilton.
