    6/5/2013 6:22:00 AM - thanks for the tip ! i don't think we saw that producer when we visited last month, we'll check that out, there is a site in the UK that specialises in NY state wines although they don't have the greatest selection, it is still handy to get a few things, particularly the cab franc, we liked quite a few of those.

    6/4/2013 7:21:00 PM - I tasted a really nice PN from the NY Finger Lake region. Reminded me a lot of Fixin. Cherry Juice, a touch of forest floor and early notes, but super elegant, and needing a bit more time in the cellar. Best PN from the East Coast I have ever had. Maybe like Burg with a splash of Oregon. Ravines Wine Cellars. 1 of 3 vineyards up here that make PN, with average yield low like 30 HL/Hectare. Total of 4-5 acres total for the vineyards.
