Friday, January 31, 2020 - La Festa del Barolo Gala Dinner (The Pool in NYC): What I think of when I think of old barolo since this producer was our introduction to it. To me it reminds me a lot of a tack room. Saddle oil and leather and all of that. It's a wine for ppl who like their wines with age (i.e. we're pretty much all in the secondary and maybe even tertiary notes right now). Thankfully I do.
