Friday, February 2, 2024 - Toasted nuts and maybe fresh lime (aware not an aroma often associated with the appellation). It was suggested to me fresh rain, which is very accurate. Also quite intense hay. On the palette, cooked yellow fruit and baking spices, with pithy bitterness too. The spiciness increased with time in the glass to great effect.
