Friday, June 9, 2023 - Fresh but a slight hint of garnet showing it’s just beginning to hit secondary phase. Smooth, silky and well balanced, red and blue fruits with a little bit of smoked meats and earthiness you expect from a Gevrey, and only just missing that extra bit of depth/intensity for a higher score, but a very good village wine and characteristic of the region.
