Fresh but a slight hint of garnet showing it’s just beginning to hit secondary phase. Smooth, silky and well balanced, red and blue fruits with a little bit of smoked meats and earthiness you expect from a Gevrey, and only just missing that extra bit of depth/intensity for a higher score, but a very good village wine and characteristic of the region.

Half bottle. Dark color. Freakishly heady, almost port nose. Big, ripe cherry, orange, some alcohol showing, soil at the end. Too much for me-a 2015 to avoid.

Lukket nese. Skitlekker munn. Mye bær, underskog, fat, røyk. Lang og strukturert! Trenger litt tid. 92

Surprisingly good. Ripe red berries with a solid core but no harsh edges. Approaching that weightlessness we're always looking for.
