Community Tasting Note

Thursday, February 1, 2024 - One of the most unique wines I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. That said, I’m not entirely sure what to make of it. It certainly seems past it’s prime, and yet, it’s not bad by any means. An incredibly unique nose with plenty of hay and an almost saline like quality. A bit of air still coaxes out a blend of dried fruits, and rich tannin on the palate. I’m withholding a score, simply because I’m not sure it fits exactly on a scale, but it was still an excellent experience.
