Tuesday, May 6, 2014 - Bodegas Lopez de Heredia, Hosted by Maria-Jose Lopez de Heredia (Berry Bros & Rudd, London): Sourced from the Bodega Lopez de Heredia for this tasting. The colour of this just tells a story of its own, amber, glossy dark hue. The nose is just a complex mix of a nutty edge, waxy, ripe lemon. Just a beautiful nose. The palate continues on a similar tune but there is just something missing everything is there but in a way are not in tune. Still pretty solid and granted this could well be an issue of bottle variability still it did not feel as complete as the 1991. Always a great experience though when coming across these old whites. 94
