Tuesday, May 24, 2022 - Waited 5 years to drink this bottle. Love the austere presentation. Purple hue, light body. Black fruit nose. Palate followed the nose, very smooth and mild tannins. Medium finish with a subtle lingering blackberry. Paired it with sirloin flap (aka bavette) Texas rub of chilies, mild char. A tasty wine and a great effort by the prisoner wine company. Not overly jammy like some Zinfandel. Great Summer time bbq wine. If you find it, drink it.
