Friday, July 1, 2011 - Beautiful mature bouquet. Creamy and round on the palate. Mainly ripe red forest fruits. Pleasant bit of sweetness and silky soft tannin which is a little bit drying in the finish. Good acidity. I expected a wine which was past its prime, but it was still very much alive. Even the next day it was still a great pleasure with no signs of oxidation.
