Thursday, December 8, 2016 - Very dark ruby purple. A lovely bouquet of violets, plums and coffee grounds. Very smooth on the palate with flavours of dried prunes and Christmas spices. Towards the sweeter end of the port scale with more than a nod to Graham's richness. Finishes sweet but very clean. Only medium weight, I don't think this has the concentration and build to make very old bones but it is nonetheless a delicious and very pretty wine which is drinking well right now. Nice box as well.
