Saturday, October 21, 2023 - First of a case of six. Not a very expressive nose, mid to deep garnet red. The first glass straight after double decanting was quite lean and a little tannic and not very promising. Vacuumed and left it for 3 hours then had a second glass, it tasted like a completely different wine, it had come together with more body and mouthfeel and lovely fruit and mineral flavours and a touch of bacon fat. Drinking beautifully.
