Wednesday, June 13, 2018 - Too much buttery oak, but partly redeemed by the ripe orchard fruit and oily floral character of this wine. Nice acidity, too, and an expressive nose. I would not buy more of these at $19, but I'm not a big fan of New World Chardonnay, so I don't know... I guess this is OK. Paired well with a rich roasted salmon.

    6/19/2018 11:21:00 AM - Hi jeanclaude - I like variety, so I buy and drink wine from all over the world, as long as it is reasonably priced. I also keep a variety on hand for friends and family. I buy CA Chardonnay on occasion, but rarely from Monterrey and never before from Bernadus. It's an ok wine. I just wasn't thrilled with it.
