Too much buttery oak, but partly redeemed by the ripe orchard fruit and oily floral character of this wine. Nice acidity, too, and an expressive nose. I would not buy more of these at $19, but I'm not a big fan of New World Chardonnay, so I don't know... I guess this is OK. Paired well with a rich roasted salmon.
Nose: Apples and creme brûlée with faint traces of the minerality one often sees from Rosella's Vineyard. Palate: The creme brûlée and apple qualities contrasted by laser like acidity providing lift. Finish is long. Somewhat modern fruit but the acid saves the day. Good effort.

Very good chard. Tastes like light bodied Montrachet.

This was an acrid, oaky turd. I could drink a gallon of village level Macon and piss on a pine board to create a better wine than this.
