Thursday, July 7, 2022 - This needs a looot of time… I wouldn’t open another for 7-10 years minimum.

Was curious about this wine considering I’d picked up bottles on clearance for $90. Highly tannic and highly structured. Nose is quite one-dimensional with some potpourri and slight incense.

Cherry lozenge, wild strawberry and maybe some citrus/orange peel on the palate

This should be really good in time. But a tonne of patience is required. 93 in time but 90-91 for now.
