Friday, March 16, 2012 - Like nearly all the 90's Riberas on the night this had a very youthful colour.
Once poured I feared this might be spoiled by Brett. However, while distinctly bloody, farmyardy and meaty I don't think
this was Brett. Plenty of red fruit here and no sickly sweetness to it as often happens with a Brett affected wine.
This got better and better as the evening went on with some really warming to it.
Couldn't get Bobby to stop sniffing it! Not the cleanest wine but very enjoyable and similar to a 95 GR I had last year.
