Sunday, December 20, 2020 - Sunday evening at Wimborne. Drank in Grassl Cru. Aired quite a while in bottle already. A fresh sample from sealed container I tasted later was actually more reductive and closed.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of red cherries, strawberries, raspberries, red spice. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), fine medium- tannins, medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet red cherries, strawberries, raspberries, lick of Vosne spice. Medium finish.
Good quality. A correct wine, but otherwise seems quite uninteresting at this point of time.
