Sunday, April 2, 2023 - The one with Jean Luc Pepin (Jade Palace) - Comtes Georges de Vogue: Some similarities to the Amoureuses in that same lifted but less ethereal bouquet that opened with lavender, violets and cool cherry cola. This transitioned into layers upon layers of sweet raspberries, dried roses, unriped plums and sandalwood with some chalk and baking spice. Palate showed fantastic concentration and finesse. Finish was textured, tender and expressive with velvety tannins. Admittedly this needs time but nothing marred this lovely showing today!Comtes Georges de Vogue
