86 Points

Monday, January 8, 2018 - In the glass the wine is deep crimson in color and a bit murky. On the nose medium intensity aromas of dark cherry and earth, not much more. On the palate dark cherry driven flavor with a tart cranberry note and mushroom. Mild acidity with plush, lip smacking tannins. Short finish.

Our first Bobal. Pretty wine if a bit one dimensional across the palate. Drinks like a big, inexpensive California pinot.
