Sunday, January 29, 2023 - 80/20 Grenache/Mourvèdre; 15%ABV. The alcohol is very dominant on the nose. On the palate there is lavender and cherry with some olive skin savouriness. Lots of weight and intensity with lovely fine tannins. This has plenty of pedigree but I do wonder if the high alcohol will continue to dog this wine. Revisit in 2028.
