Sunday, August 11, 2019 - Upon opening this exhibited such strong notes of damp wood and cardboard that I thought it was corked! Fortunately those blew off within 10 minutes, revealing a round, medium-full bodied wine that's more quaffable than food friendly, and not complex at all. Fairly fine with aeration on its own thus. 15% ABV, well integrated.

Update: 24 hours later, the 2 oz left in a covered glass are drinking much, much better, exhibiting savory notes with good complexity.
