Saturday, May 28, 2016 - Perfumed but heavily earth driven nose of damp soil, rustic underbrush, and brooding black cherry. Bit of cinnamon spice in there too. Herbaceous echinacea hints suggest this has plenty of time ahead of it. Lots of structure on the palate but still delivers a wallop of red berry and currant fruit. Great acidity too. Really fantastic showing here.
