Wednesday, March 21, 2018 - Surprisingly approachable now. On the rougher side of the elegant but forceful Perrot Minot vocabulary. Lots of dense, rich red dark berry fruit in the nose with a healthy dose of sous bios and other forest flavors. Dark dark garnet red with NSG edges. On the palate, warmth, some serious extract ( I avoid the terribly overused reduction term) and a complexity that was unusual in a NSG under 20 years old.
